WELL now see d information given by d officials n sites

A late, late show rescued Arsenal from the jaws of defeat as they recorded a 2-1 victory in an absorbing game against Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League encounter.
David Villa’s first-half goal looked to have settled matters after Wojciech Szczesny made a series of impressive saves to hold the visitors at bay.
Yet an equaliser from a lashed volley from an almost impossible angle from Robin Van Persie and a coolly slotted Andrey Arshavin finish saw the hosts snatch the first-leg advantage when it seemed most unlikely.
Arsenal will remain wary that a 1-0 victory for their opponents at the Nou Camp will be enough to sway the tie their way, but will be buoyed by the heroic manner of the comeback against the widely fancied Catalan club.........

NOW SEE WHAT D PLAYERS HAVE TO SAY....

“We played a good game and created a lot of chances,” said David Villa. “But we were up against a great team in Arsenal who caught us on two counterattacks and hurt us. We were the better team, but there’s still 90 minutes to go and we can save ourselves in that time.
The 29-year-old forward underlined that “now we have a break in this competition and we must focus on the league, but we have the team and the players to come back into the tie.
Alves agreed that “this first game was a great game for the fans, though we lost it because we didn’t take our chances. We’re feeling good. Things happen and circumstances change quickly in these sort of games – [playing in] Europe is different. We had opportunities but we didn’t manage to make the most of them. Now we’ll play hard to stay in the competition.
Xavi commented that “it was an unfair defeat because we were much better than Arsenal”. But he agreed that Arsenal’s “counter attacks do a lot of damage”. When asked about next game in Champions League, the midfielder and captain for the evening said “there are 90 minutes left, but it’s a shame we didn’t get a result [...]We’re very optimistic. We’re playing at the Camp Nou, with our fans. But the result [at Emirates] was not the one we wanted or that reflects the game”...
IN a newspaper arshawin said,''We are feeling lucky to win such a game.We took our chances and i think the counter attacks of our team attacked and hurt barca the most.Messi is such a player that could have done damage but unfortunately it wasnt his day.he still have the second leg in camp nou and we definately have to prove ourselves yet again''
